Agencies

The University accepts the participation of those organizations that have been determined to be qualified organizations by the State Comptroller under the Voluntary Payroll Deduction Act of 1983. To be eligible for the state fund drive, organizations must meet criteria outlined by state law including obtaining 4,000 signatures from state employees and maintaining a minimum of 500 payroll deductions in order to remain eligible from year to year. Questions about eligibility may be directed to Cindy Dixon, SECA Statewide Administrator at (217) 558-0964. Eleven organizations are a part of the 2008 Campus Charitable Fund Drive (CCFD). The descriptions in this brochure will help you choose the agencies you would like to support with your donation. Percentages in the descriptions indicate the percentage of funds spent for administration and fund-raising activities as reported by each umbrella agency. The choices are numerous; a complete index is at the back of the brochure. Questions about individual agencies should be directed to those agencies or their umbrella organizations.
